Welcome to The Booker-Lewis!

Located in the National Historic District, the Leesville Main Street and Cultural District of Leesville Louisiana, our boutique hotel is a Bed&Breakfast.com Diamond Collection property.
The Booker-Lewis is recommended by Paul Stahls in Louisiana Life magazine and Anne Butler in her book, Main Streets of Louisiana. Our reputation of highly attentive personal service, uniquely charming accommodations, unexpected amenities and memorable cuisine has earned The Booker-Lewis the distinction of being a destination of choice for regional, national and international leisure and corporate travelers.

Our property encompasses seven historic buildings located in the City of Leesville, LA. Six of them were built as homes and one as an early 1900’s commercial storefront. All have been meticulously restored and are lovingly maintained to retain their historic character while offering modern conveniences discerning travelers expect. Our main campus includes four buildings – The Booker-Lewis House, The Ward House, Stewart Lodge and La Casita. These buildings are nestled on a one-acre parcel in a park-like setting of towering, mature hardwood trees, flowering native shrubbery and meandering walkways through a lush St. Augustine lawn.

Our distinctive accommodations, along with our acclaimed restaurant and pub offer the perfect choice for traveler’s seeking a welcome respite from the ordinary.

“Just wanted you to know how delighted I was to speak with you and have you introduce us to THE BOOKER-LEWIS. (We have been known to seek out a bed-and-breakfast when we’re able to sneak away…) Your boutique hotel was just what we needed for a quick, near-by getaway last year. My husband and I dashed up from De Ridder and had a very enjoyable stay. It was quite a pleasant surprise with it being “tucked away” in plain sight and so close to home.It did cross my mind that you might want to consider adding an occasional folding “screen” to the decor for some of the rooms (like THE RETREAT which featured the whirlpool tub in the sleeping area).

Our experience included relaxing in the whirlpool tub, breakfast in our room, solitude, tv-viewing and a comfortable bed.

We thank you and highly recommend your establishment…..”
